Melissa Skeet and Daisy Purdy have taken up this challenge to:
Raise awareness regarding impacts of extractive industries on Indigenous Peoples, including but not limited to the COVID pandemic co-morbidity rates, and the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives epidemic.
We have roller skated over 2500 miles and we’re continuing to roll with a goal to raise $50 per mile. We would like to formally invite you to come along with us and be a part of this journey. You may not be skating with us, but through your donations, engagement and sharing, you will be the oil to our bearings, making sure that we skate our way to providing the support needed. We are all responsible for recognizing and respecting Indigenous Peoples and Native lands.
